## **The Challenge**

Race across Alaska's most unforgiving terrain—from the approach to Skwentna, up the brutal climb to Denali, through the trials of McGrath, and finally to the finish line in Nome. Every action costs time and resources. Can you reach Nome in record time, or will you run out of supplies in the frozen wilderness?

## **Strategic Gameplay**

**Route Choices** — At each checkpoint, choose between two paths:
 **Fast & Risky**: Shorter routes that burn through your resources
 **Safe & Slow**: Longer trails with guaranteed bonuses to keep you going
**Resource Management** — Keep your dogs fed and rested:
 **Stamina**: Your team's energy to pull the sled
 **Supplies**: Food and equipment to sustain the journey
 Run out of either and your race ends

**Dynamic Speed System** — Maintain high resources (Stamina ≥6 OR Supplies ≥7) to mush at premium speed (6 hours instead of 8). Let both drop too low and your exhausted team will slow to a crawl.

**Task System** — Complete tasks to convert between resources, but every action advances time and changes your options. Should you complete that perfect task now, or risk losing it to mush forward?
